HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR HAIRCUT APPOINTMENT
at The Den Salon
Please arrive on time. I am usually booked back to back, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, and arriving late may push the rest of my schedule. I want you to get a great cut and not rush you, so please give yourself ample time to find parking and arrive on time for your session.
Come with clean hair. A 24 hour wash is okay - as long as it’s not greasy / clumped together / in a bun. This is so I can see it in its natural texture and can advise the best cut for you.
Bring up to 3 inspo photos that are similar to your hair texture and hair type. If you have curly hair, show me pics of curly hair, not straight.
Your appointment time is 1 hour and 15 mins. You will receive a consultation, a wash, cut, and style. Dry cutting is also included at the end to refine the shape. Any additional changes or adjustments to the haircut beyond the session time require a separate booking.
Late Arrival. Arriving late will shorten your appointment time to respect the next scheduled client. Depending on availability, we may have to skip the hair wash, blow out / styling, or reschedule your appointment for another time.
Quiet Please. Please don’t take this personally. When I work, I keep talking to a minimum. In fact, when I’m sectioning & cutting your hair, I can’t talk.I have to concentrate and chatting takes away from our time and my focus. Once the hard part is done, we can resume our chat. 💕
After the appointment. I highly recommend you take photos of your hair from all angles after your appointment and keep it as reference for your next appointment.
Cancellation Policy. I understand life happens, and if you need to reschedule due to a last minute emergency, the deposit is honored if you book within a week. Otherwise, another non-refundable deposit will be required to book another session.
Please let us know at lease 48 hours in advance if you can’t make your appointment.
Same day cancellations or no-shows are subject to a full charge.
Please be kind to our front desk staff. They are doing their best to be accommodating.
